Final Project, Simple Storybook

In Photoshop use:
Transform, Cloning and Puppetwarp tools
to tell a Story with 3 objects that you silhouette in photoshop.

In InDesign:
Lay out the 6 paged book. Use the Spreads grouping in the pages Palette.
Add in Type in Indesign.

Story should take place in 4 panels.
You can use sketching to lay out the book before you get started.

Requirements for your finished storybook:

  • 6 paged booklet. Each page 6 x 6 inches.
  • Pages include: Front Cover with type, 4 inside pages (at least one double paged spread), Back Cover (can be blank)
  • Set all margins to .5 inches.
  • All Pages will have type on them. Type can be a simple word or short sentence. Keep type in the same place on the page for inside pages. Use only two fonts.
  • I am looking for InDesign Skills, knowledge of design concepts, and your creative expressions.

Submission procedure

  • Remember to consider: design concepts: alignment (symmery assymetry, hierarchy, color, value.)
  • Document should be 6×6 inches squared
  • Save as a pdf.
  • Print out booklet cut out and glue or staple together by the end of next class for final grade.  You cannot hand this in late since next week is your last class. This will be considered your final.
